The Creative Learning Loft is organized as a series of themed Lofts.
Each Loft is accessible to families, and children aged 4-10 years. Parents are welcome to sit back and watch their child's creative process with their very own eyes... sharing the experience. Alternatively, the parent can jump right in and be part of the creative process... some adults are our most creative participants.
Due to the many creative Loft environments everyone, young or old, will have a wonderful, creative fun time at The Creative Learning Loft.
 

What is a Loft?

A Loft is a learning environment. Each is a different space characterized by different themes or activities, and is designed to promote creative learning, growing and family sharing. We are proud to introduce our several Lofts, in which we aim to enhance the children's interest and creativity. 

  

Parent Work Loft

This is a quiet space  for parents to connect with work via our WiFi.  Small work area with  desk.  The webcams enable parents to observe their children at play, while they are connected to work or other activities.  

Best of all, there is no additional charge for the use of the parent space! 

 

 

 

Toddler Place

The Toddler Place is a space designed to provide a complete solution for toddlers as young as 24 months. We have created an educational oriented play area, exposing Toddler's to age-appropriate activities in a dynamic and safe surrounding.  A parent or guardian must be present at all times.
 The Toddler Place presents the right balance between technological interactive activities - physical interaction - through soft play, and cognitive voyage of investigation and exploration.

Baby Sign classes will be offered by Katie Gotelli.

Library

Our library is designed as an old country study. It is furnished with over-sized stuffed chairs, games and a large selection of books for all ages! Our library also contains a quiet children's nook for personal reading and writing and first Leap Frog Computer. 

 

Construction Site

The construction site is where your children come to both build and destroy their creative constructions. Based on their love of exploring and tinkering, this site will contain building blocks, Legos, cranes, pulleys, logs, wrenches, ladders, ropes, swings and a series of weights & counter-weights - all to stimulate your child's imagination. Travel Chest

A wonderful old traveling chest. What could be more fun than dressing up and playing make believe? The children will dress up, pretend, imagine and dream.

 

Homework is based on the parent/child agreement. Although we do not enforce homework, we offer a quiet place to study with tutor assistance.

 

 

 

Children's Learning Lab

Each lab holds a different learning center; Computer Lab and Science Lab. With our unique Magnetic Hand Wall, and our hands on experiments this area will capture your child's scientific curiosity.

 

Computers For All will be practised here, using computers with age-appropriate games and learning programs for different age levels.

Science discoveries and projects. For example: Do cockroaches have a sense of direction? How do you make your own sundial? How can you make your own barometer? How does a parachute work? Every week, new and exciting experiments and projects to discover.

 

Creative Spot

The place to be! Creatively speaking, that is. Painting, craft projects, making clay models, sand art, beading, whatever!

With a little boost and loads of imagination our mind has no limits. Discover the magic of our Claymation Nation- or create your own puppets for the next Hidden Treasure Chest production!

 

CLL Global

Let's celebrate cultural diversities through music, dance, folklore and story telling. We will celebrate holidays, traditions and cultures from around the world. Weekly guest speakers, creatively prepared food and shared family recipes for our monthy "Famous Family Recipe".

 

Multimedia Center

Pass the popcorn.. Pleeesse! Theater enhances language and listening skills.  This multimedia area is used for Dance Dance, G-rated movies, listening to music, karaoke and puppet shows. With our Multi-Media Center the children will create and perform their own music videos, write and recite poems, create puppet shows and produce a few skits.

 

Fantasy Forest- This is where we hold our Jubilees!

 A place where you and your child's imagination can run wild.

 

 

 

Puzzle Zone

Nothing like a good mystery or puzzle. A whole area dedicated to puzzles. Giant floor puzzles, small floor puzzles. Puzzles of every shape, size and level. From Checkers to the Rubik's Cube. Chess anyone?
